INDUCTION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM OF LASER BEAM OF HIGH ENERGY

PURPOSE: To control a possibility of damaging a blood vessel to the minimum and facilitate a motion of a light wave-guiding path through the blood vessel by designing the system in such a manner that a guide wire is provided which is inserted into the blood vessel before inserting an optical fiber, a sleeve having a round front end and two lumens extending in the direction of the front end is provided, and the front end of the optical fiber being combined with the inner part of one of the sleeve lumens. CONSTITUTION: A guide system includes a guide wire 70 and a sleeve 72. The end of the sleeve 72 has a round end 74. The sleeve 72 has at least two lumens 76 and 78 therein. The first sleeve lumen 76 is designed to be able to receive the guide wire 70, while the second sleeve lumen 78 is designed to surround the optical fiber 12 or fiber rows, depending on cases. The guide wire 70 is inserted into the blood vessel till it reaches a completely blocked position, that is, a position beyond a damaged region, and the sleeve 72 is then mounted on the guide wire 70.
