SWING STOPPING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity for replacement of grinder element swing stopping shoe and avoid its interference with an oil hole by furnishing a coupling device to couple a swing stopping base which is installed displaceable in parallel with the table feeding direction with a table in such a manner as capable of being coupled and removed freely and mounting this coupling device at a bracket fixed to the bed of a machine tool concerned, or on the bed itself. CONSTITUTION:First a coupling device 13 disengages a swing stopping base 7 from a table 2, and after this table 2 is located in place, the base 7 is coupled with another table 12 by the coupling device 13. Then the position of the base 7 is changed by moving this table 12. Use of this type of coupling device 13 eliminates replacement of grinder element G and replacement of swing stopping shoe 12 installed on the swing stopping base 7 even in case there are different sorts of works to be processed, and the shoe 12 can be avoided from interference with an oil hole in a crank shaft as work to be processed.
