Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound useful as a raw material for epsilon- caprolactam, etc., without deteriorating the quality by oximating cyclohexane with hydroxylamine sulfate in the presence of sodium hydroxide. CONSTITUTION:Oximation reaction of cyclohexanone and hydroxylamine sulfate is carried out by using sodium hydroxide as an alkali at 60-100 deg.C while adjusting the pH to 2.5-5. If necessary, the pH of the aqueous layer obtained by the reaction is adjusted to 9-12 and the solution is concentrated to crystallize the objective cyclohexanone oxime and recover sodium sulfate in high purity.
