Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To suppress the orientation disturbance of a liquid crystal and to improve the display grade of the device by regulating the movement of the spacers to be interposed between two sheets of glass substrates by the step between transparent films and the glass substrates. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of transparent electrodes 14a, 14b are arranged and formed in parallel with each other on the respectively opposite surfaces of two sheets of the glass substrates 13a, 13b constituting a liquid crystal panel 11 for display. An oriented film 15a is formed on the surface of the side formed with the transparent electrodes 14a, 14b and the plural spherical spacers 18a are interposed in addition to the liquid crystal 16a between two sheets of the glass substrates 13a and 13b. The movement of the spacers 18a, 18b is largely limited by the steps made between the surfaces of the glass substrates 13a, 13b and the transparent films dispersed and formed thereon. The flaws of the oriented films 15a, 15b occurring in the movement of the spacers 18a, 18b of the liquid crystal panel for color tone connection are decreased in this way and the display grade is improved.
