Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain a photosemiconductor material which, when used as a charge generator of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, has high sensitivity, high response and excellent durability by using a mixed crystal of a oxytitanium phthalocyanine having a specified crystal structure and oxyvanadium phthalocyanine. CONSTITUTION:A photosemiconductor material which, when used as, for example, a charge generator of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, has high sensitivity, high response, good charging characteristics, and a small residual potential and does not vary greatly in these characteristics when used repeatedly is obtained by using a phthalocyanine crystal comprising a crystal which has strong diffraction peaks at Bragg angles (2theta + or - 0.2 deg.) of 9.2 deg., 13.1 deg., 20.7 deg., 26.2 deg. and 27.1 deg. in an X-ray diffraction spectrum and is composed of a first component of oxytitanium phthalocyanine and a second component of oxyvanadium phthalocyanine and in which the molar fraction of the first component is in the range of below 100% to above 80%. |
