CONSTITUTION:When a steel sheet is subjected to Zn alloy electroplating, the surface of the steel sheet is first subjected to Zn alloy electroplating by a nearly prescribed coating surface density with a plating soln. and the plated surface is further subjected to Zn alloy electroplating by >=0.1g/m coating weight with a plating soln. having the same compsn. at 1-10A/dm current density. A plating layer having uniform activity is obtd. with the used plating soln. without changing facilities and a plated steel sheet enabling the formation of a coating film by chemical treatment with no unevenness is produced.
