Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To quantitatively measure the position of an object or a distance thereof in a stereoscopic image by displaying a cursor on a position in the stereoscopic image corresponding to a specified three-dimensional position. CONSTITUTION:A joy stick 12 specifies the three-dimensional position of a cursor and a control box 13 moves a robot 15 through a robot controller 14, so that a holder 16 having left and right video cameras 2 and 3 is moved and the respective cameras can be positioned on the desired three-dimensional positions. The coordinate of a spatial position where the cursor exists is transformed into character display data in a three-dimensional graphic control circuit 17 and given to a superimposition circuit 6 so as to perform numeric display on the image. By changing the position of the camera, the coincidence between a corner point and the cursor is decided mainly based on horizontal deviation information as compared with parallax information. Therefore, the position of the object and the distance thereof can be easily measured by moving the cursor in the stereoscopic image. |
