RESPONSE TIME MEASURING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To easily measure response time at need anytime by providing a response time measuring means in a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:The terminal equipment 1 starts data transmission to a host computer 3 by depressing a transmission start key. At this time, an arithmetic and control part 11 reads out the present time held by a clock part 14, and stores it in a time storage table in a storage part 12. The arithmetic and control part 11 starting the reception of response data from the host computer 3 by a transmission/reception part 15 starts the display of the response data on a display 19, and also, reads out the present time held by the clock part 14, and stores it in the time storage table by making a pair of it with transmission start time stored previously. Next, the arithmetic and control part 11 calculates the response time based on the transmission start time and display start time stored in the time storage table stored until that time by inputting a response time display command from a keyboard 17, and displays it visually on the display 19. In such a way, it is possible to easily measure the response time anytime.
