OUTLET SIDE DEFLECTOR ROLL OF PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT COMMONLY USED FOR PLATED STEEL SHEET AND COLD ROLLED STEEL SHEET

PURPOSE:To produce the cold rolled steel sheet having excellent surface characteristics by retractably providing a cover or a deflector roll for the plated steel sheet in proximity to a deflector roll for the cold rolled steel sheet on the outlet side of a hot dip coating cell. CONSTITUTION:The steel sheet 6 is continuously passed in a hot dip coating bath 1 via the inlet side deflector roll 4 and a sink roll 7 and is subjected to hot dip coating; thereafter, the steel sheet is taken out via a wiping device 8, by which the plated steel sheet is produced. The above-mentioned steel sheet 6 is transferred from the inlet side deflector roll 4 to the deflector roll 9 for the cold rolled steel sheet and is thereby taken out at the time of producing the cold rolled steel sheet. The pass line of the steel sheet 6 is changed from L1 to L3 and the steel sheet is guided by the deflector roll 10 for the plated steel sheet provided to the front end part of a arm 12 at the time of switching the production from the production of the plated steel sheet to the production of the cold rolled steel sheet with the above- mentioned production equipment commonly used for the plated steel sheet and the cold rolled steel sheet of the continuous heat treatment furnace. The arm 12 is rotated around a shaft 11 after the passage through the plating sticking part and the steel sheet 6 is guided by the deflector roll 9 for the cold rolled steel sheet, by which the sticking of the plating metal is prevented and the cold rolled steel sheet having high quality is obtd.
