INFORMATION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR MOBILE BODY

PURPOSE:To prevent transmission quality from being dependent on the meteorological condition such as rain or mist by moving a mobile body and a communication equipment installed on other body to a proper location in response to the relative position between the mobile body and other body and sending a signal within a prescribed distant section only. CONSTITUTION:While a mobile body 1 moves to a point B in the direction of P, an operating state detection circuit 16 keeps a magnetic switch control circuit 15 in on-state and a control signal for such a variable as position or speed of the mobile body 1 is sent to an optical fiber supply and take-up device 8 through optical fiber cables 11, 7 by an optical modulator/demodulator 14 and the circuit 16. Since the optical fiber supply and take-up device 8 supplies the optical fiber cable 7 by the control signal in matching with the position or speed of the mobile body 1, bidirectional signal transmission is attained even at the movement between points A and B. When the mobile body 1 reaches the point B, the operating state detection circuit 16 turns off the magnetic switch control circuit 15 and sends a wind control signal of the optical fiber supply and take-up device 8 to the optical demodulator 14. Thus, the transmission quality is prevented from being dependent on the meteorological condition such as rain or mist.
