Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To minimize the dislocation of distance causing a misalignment of printed characters by correctly maintaining a distance between a pen and paper, and flatness of paper during printing. CONSTITUTION: When paper 5 is subjected to print, a spacer 21 slides crossing over the print surface of paper. Since the spacer 21 is situated proximate to a printing area, it serves to flatten paper at the local region of printing. In order to flatten paper 15, force implied by the spacer 25 can be referred to 'contact force'. The contact force is decided by an ink jet pen 11 relative to a guide rod 20 and weight distribution of a carriage 13. Namely, the carriage 13 operates, as anticlockwise contact force maintains the surface on which the spacer 25 rides in contact with the surface of paper 15, to secure substantial paper flatness under the ink jet nozzle causing no excessive friction trapping. |
