METHOD OF DETERMINING WEIGHT BEFORE MELTING IN GOLD INGOT CASTING

PURPOSE:To determine a weight in a narrow width and to stabilize the supply rate of gold grains so that the weight can be rapidly determined by using the gold grains having 0.05 to 1.0mm grain size and adding the gold grains to the target weight in the final stage. CONSTITUTION:Weighing is executed by using the gold grains of 0.1 to 2.83mm grain size and using the rough weighing capacity of 90g smaller by about 10g than the target 100g then by adding the gold grains of 0.1 to 2.0mm to about 98g less by 2g than the target 100g; thereafter using the gold grains of 0.05 to 1.0mm and feeding these gold grain to a rectilinear feeder and adding the gold grain up to the target 100g. The gold grains collapse convergently like a finely pointed drawing brush at the tip of the rectilinear feeder in this way and the gold grains of the weight in a narrow width can be supplied. The determination of the weight prior to nearly the target weight 100.06 to 100.11g before melting is possible.
