THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent permanent antistaticity, color tone and mechanical properties such as impact resistance and free from delamination tendency by compounding a specific modified polyamide to a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective antistatic resin composition can be produced by compounding (A) 1-99wt.% (preferably 20-95wt.%) of a thermoplastic resin (e.g., polyamide resin or polyester resin), (B) 99-1wt.% (preferably 80-5wt.%) of a modified polyamide produced by the addition polymerization of (B1) 100 pts.wt. of a polyamide composed of >=6C aminocarboxylic acid or lactam or a salt of >=6C diamine and a dicarboxylic acid (preferably caprolactam, 12- aminododecanoic acid or hexamethylenediamine-adipic acid salt) and (B2) 10-400 pts.wt. (preferably 20-200 pts.wt.) of ethylene oxide and, as necessary, (C) an antistatic agent, a compatibilizing agent, an antioxidant, etc.
