LENS POSITION DETECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To detect the position of a lens without contacting by providing a magnetic pattern part consisting of magnet parts of 1st and 2nd poles and a no-magnetic-force part and a magnetism sensing means which senses a magnetic force from the magnetic pattern part. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic pattern parts 16 and 18 are stuck or provided magnetically on the circumferences of a focus ring 11 and a focus ring 12 and magnetism sensing elements 19 and 20 are faced to the magnetic pattern parts at specific intervals and sense the magnetic force from the magnetic pattern parts. Consequently, the position of the lens is detected with low power consumption without contacting, the durability and stability are improved, and the number of components is small; and the assembly is excellent and the size, weight, and cost are reduced.
