Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a moisture sensitive element having constant moisture sensitive characteristics by a method wherein a porous sintered body, which is formed by treating the surface and small holes with polyurethane resin, is used as the title moisture sensitive element. CONSTITUTION:A porous sintered body, having the surface and the small holes treated by polyurethane resin, is used. The polyurethane resin is the polymerized material of polyhydric alcohol and isocyanate. As a method of treatment of a porous material using urethane resin, there are a method in which the porous material is dipped into a urethane resin solution and then it is dried up, and another metod wherein the urethane resin solution is sprayed on the porous material and then it is dried up, and the like. As the solvent with which urethane resin is dissolved, there are dimethylformamide, toluene and the like. As a result, a moisture-sensitive element, having almost constant moisture sensitive characteristics even in the environment where water, mist-like drops of water, oil, vapor of oil, organic acid, inorganic corrosive gas, smoke of a cigarette, aldehydes and the like are present, can be obtained.
