Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To take out floating dust and exhaust gas after collection to the outside of a system or for reutilization thereof and to prevent the occurrence of a clogging accident due to the residue of floating dust by a method wherein in a swirling atmosphere having temperature at which a noncombustible substance can be dissolved, floatable molten slug in exhaust gas is collected and agglomerated to return it to the discharge side. CONSTITUTION:A raw material C to be heat-treated is mixed with heated air A for combustion to feed the mixture to a melting furnace 3. The mixture is brought into a high temperature state, an incombustible substance in the raw material C produces molten slug H, and a combustible substance is gasified to produce exhaust gas D. The slug H produces cooled slug E by means of a residue discharge device 5 and is discharged to the outside of a system. Meanwhile, most of a gas flow in the melting furnace 3 contains floating dust J formed by liquid drops of molten slug and is forcibly turned in the direction of a floating substance removing device 4 so that it is forced into a revolving flow state. A centrifugal force is exerted on the gas flow, which is caught by the inner wall surface of the device 4 and is moved to a bottom. The gas flow is heat-insulated by means of exhaust gas D moved in a counterflow state to the flow of the slug J, and is returned to the melting furnace 3 in a state keeping fluidability. |
