Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make a transport vehicle lighter in weight as a whole as well as to simplify its structure by installing each longitudinal traveling grounded part free of relative movement in front and in the rear, and forming the grounded part on one side into a travel driving grounded part, while setting up an interlocking means for lifting a load-carrying platform in linkage with longitudinal relative movements of this grounded part. CONSTITUTION:A transport vehicle, whose load-carrying platform 4 is lowered, is made to get into the lower part of a pallet board B mounted with a building material A. Next, any travel of a crawler type travel gear 2a' in a traveling grounded part 2' at the rear of this transport vehicle is checked by a brake, while another crawler type travel gear 2a in a traveling grounded part 2 in the front is made to go backward, and the load-carrying platform 4 is lifted up via an interlocking means 3, and simultaneously the pallet board B is floated to the ground after being fixed to this lifting state. After the transport vehicle is moved to the specified spot in this state as it is, a movable stopper 4d is released and the load-carrying platform 4 is lowered, having the pallet board B grounded. Then, the transport vehicle is separated from the underside of the pallet board B for traveling.
