Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject PE, improved in adhesive strength to cement matrices and useful for producing fiber-reinforced inorganic formed bodies by activating the surface of drawn PE used for reinforcing fiber-reinforced cement hardened bodies with irradiation of electron rays or low-temperature plasma, treatment. CONSTITUTION:The surface of reinforcing drawn PE used for reinforcing fiber- reinforced cement hardened bodies is subjected to irradiation of electron rays or low-temperature plasma treatment, irradiated and discharged so as to provide >=48dyne/cm surface tension as an index to wettability and activated. Furthermore, the afore-mentioned activated surface, as necessary, is coated with a hydrophilic resin.
