PAPER FOLDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To pile together paper completely straightened by forming each paper folding roller in its paper folding surface mutually with a predetermined space to be held in a contactless condition. CONSTITUTION:Paper 5, delivered from a delivery roller 8, is fed into a stopper unit 4 through a guide passage 4a by a retaining roller 3 and a paper folding roller 2a, and the paper 5 adapts its point end to a stopper 4b of the stopper unit 4, when a feed of the paper is stopped, the paper, bending its almost central part to the bottom to be held in a space D between each paper folding roller 2a, 2b, is fed to the bottom. Under this condition, the paper 5 is folded by this space D with a fold portion not completely bent, thus in a condition after folding, the paper 5, holding its restoring force, is held in a condition opened in a V-shape immediately even after the folding. The paper 5 in the two-part folded condition thus fed downward removes static electricity by a static eliminator 17, thereafter the paper is piled together in a condition opened to a V-shape on a valley-shaped bottom part 14a of a receiving box 14.
