INSIDE PANEL FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To give the luxurious impression to the interior appearance by dividing the film of an inner panel adhered to the inside wall of the roof panel of a vehicle, into a plurality of pieces, appropriately bending the specified edge of each of the pieces and joining the opposing edges of the pieces with each other. CONSTITUTION:In each of a plurality of pieces 1 into which a film sheet such as synthetic resin sheet or cloth made of various fabrics is cut, the front edge 2 of the piece 1, shown in the left position as the front part, is curved round, each of the opposing edges 3 of the pieces 1 are cut in the form of a trapezoid with the opposing sides thereof inclined, and the rear edge 4 of the piece 1, shown in the right position as the rear part, is recessed in the form of a flat trapezoid reversely to the other projecting edges 3. After little small core members 5 formed similarly to each other are adhered to these pieces 1 one by one, the adjacent edges 3 of the pieces 1 are joined with each other with a sawing machine or a high frequency welding means, whereby obtaining a solid inside panel member 6 fit to the inside face of a roof panel. The peripheral part 9 of this inside panel member 6 is finished with good appearance in such a way that the periphery of each of the pieces 1 is curled up and fixed.
