ORIGINAL SCANNING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To form the original scanning device of a simply structured double- sided driving system composed of inexpensive components to manufacture by fastening a pair of driving wires at nearly their center so that they are integrated, and by using a single wire drum. CONSTITUTION:The two driving wires 29 and 30 are firmly fixed to screw rods 20a and 30a at their one end and to round terminals 29b and 30b at their other end, respectively. The wires 29 and 30 are fastened to each other at nearly their respective centers by means of a fastening member 31 so that the two wires are integrated. The wires 29 and 30 are alternately wound around the wire drum 32 plural times; and the four ends are rewound from the drum 32 so that first and second mirror bases 27 and 28 (first and second scanners) are wired. Since the single wire drum is used, this eliminates the problem of the variance of outside dimension. Additionally, the two wires are prevented from being mutually dislocated even if a shock occurs, because the driving wires are integrally fastened.
