Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of a cylindrical drum and to obtain the stable welding quality therefor by inserting a sheet material between a pair of main roll and a rolling means and winding forming the sheet in a cylindrical form along a rotating means. CONSTITUTION:A pair of main rolls 26 is arranged at a fixed distance. The winding jig 28 is arranged above the rolls and jacks 34 are set to move the jig vertically. The sheet 25 is inserted between a pair of main rolls 26 and the winding jig 28 and the sheet 25 is formed in a cylindrical form along the rotating winding jig 28. A reinforcing ring is put outside the cylindrical drum, a clamping means is removed and the cylindrical drum is press contacted by the reinforcing ring. By this method, the productivity of the cylindrical drum can be improved and the stable welding quality can be obtained.
