Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an external preparation containing an uniformly blended drug and improved in stimulation to skin, use feeling and stability of drug by blending amlexanox with a water soluble organic amine or basic amino acid used as a dissolution auxiliary. CONSTITUTION:The aimed external preparation obtained by blending 0.05-10wt.% 2-amino-7-isopropyl-5-oxo-5H-[1]benzopyrano[2,3-b]pyridine-3- carboxylic acid (amlexanox) with 0.1-20.0wt.%, preferably 0.2-1.5 water soluble organic amine (most preferably diisopropanol amine or triethanol amine) or 0.1-3.0wt.%, preferably 0.1-1.5 basic amino acid (e.g., alginic acid or lysin) used as a dissolution auxiliary. The external preparation is used as a form of cataplasm, cream, gel or lotion.
