PROGRAM INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To dispense with a dedicated change-over switch and a display label by inputting an identification code which selects a display from a keyboard, and displaying guide information for the selection of the display on a built-in display. CONSTITUTION:When the switching mode of the display is designated with the start-up of a power source or the input of an instruction from the keyboard 12, a CPU 1 displays a guide message for the selection of the display on the built-in display 5. A decoder 21 generates a C/S signal corresponding to each address designation, respectively, and a gate circuit 22 inputs display information on a data bus 10 to an interface 4 for outside display when the C/S signal for the interface 4 for outside display is activated, and also, a gate circuit 23 inputs the display information on the data bus 10 to the built-in display 5 when the C/S signal for the built-in display 5 is activated. Thereby, no dedicat ed change-over switch is required, and also, no display label for change-over switch is required.
