POWER TOOL SWITCH

PURPOSE:To obtain a power tool switch which facilitates the assembling of a scissors-like lever and the mutual assembling of small parts in the switch associated therewith by fitting in a cross hole in one lever a circular arc piece of the cross section of the other lever. CONSTITUTION:A power tool switch, which is provided with a scissors-like level to put both levers 38, 39 into scissors-like motion in a cross state with the association with a straight slider 28 and sideway member 40, 41 for switch operation between contact portions to control motor power, is so constituted that a cross hole 46 is opened to the cross section of one lever 39 where both levers are crossed, an anti-rotation protrusion 39a is provided on the inner periphery of the cross hole 46 and a circular arc piece 38a is standingly provided at the cross section of the other lever 38 to be fitted into the inner periphery of the cross hole 46 with scissors-like motion allowable. In such constitution, both levers are joined in correspondence with a regularly joined position because of the fitted circular arc piece 38a and still joined with being set in a preset scissors-like motion area by the protrusion 39a. It is thus possible to facilitate integral constitution, improve the efficiency of assembling work and intend a low cost.
