NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To offer continuously the network management service to an operator even when a network management equipment is in fault by assigning the network management equipment to a master in response to the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:Network management equipments 1a-1c are provided with a function managing the same network 100 and coupled with a management information storage device 40 via a bus 2. The equipments 1a-1c communicate with a communication equipment and a computer, etc., and control it to manage the network. In this case, one of the equipments 1a-1c acts like a master and other two equipments act like standby equipments. Thus, the movement of the network management function is easily implemented.
