TECHNICAL INFORMATION RETRIEVING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To quickly retrieve a data base in a simple and flexible retrieval condition by storing only the retrieval key word of required technical information like technical information to be retrieved or technical information to be individually managed in an IC card. CONSTITUTION:A technical information retrieving system consists of an IC card 1, an IC card reader 2, a display device 3, a storage device 4, a keyboard 5, and a central control processing unit 6, and retrieval key words of items to be retrieved, drawings to be managed, or technical document items of specifications or the like are stored in the IC card 1. The central control processing unit 6 controls the storage device 4 by retrieval item information of the technical document obtained by the control of the IC card reader 2 and takes out stored technical document information to display the information on the display device 3 or takes out technical document information stored in the storage device 4 by input information from the keyboard 5. Only retrieval key words of required technical information are stored in the IC card 1 in this manner and are used for retrieval to shorten the retrieval time.
