Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To travel a strip without the strip being brought into contact with the members of a bath by providing a curved strip traveling surface having plural injection ports for a molten salt, and erecting a centering guide on both ends of the surface. CONSTITUTION:The circular surface of the semicylindrical hollow strip floater 4 is used as a strip traveling surface 4b, and the centering guide 5 is provided on both ends of the surface. A molten salt injection pipe 13 is fixed to the upper surface of the floater 4. The floater 4 is suspended in the bath 1. The strip S is traveled around the strip traveling surface 4b of the floater 4. The injection pressures of the molten salt L1 from injection holes 4a are leveled by a partition plate 6, and exerted on the strip S. Consequently, the strip S is traveled at a fixed distance from the strip traveling surface 4b without being brought into contact with the surface 4b. Accordingly, the strip S is not scratched.
