ERRONEOUS WORK PREVENTION SYSTEM IN ASSEMBLY LINE

PURPOSE:To attempt to prevent erroneous work by stopping a tightening machine and an assembly conveyor when the tightening machine with a torque control structure arranged along the subordinate parts assembly conveyor causes a tightening torque deviating from a preset value. CONSTITUTION:Along a sub-assembly conveyor 1, an automatic tightening machine 20 provided with a torque control structure is arranged in each parts assembly station. If one of the tightening machines 20 makes an abnormal tightening work and a detection signal of an abnormal value deviating from a torque administration value is outputted, a work administration computer 21 in this particular working section instantly indicates occurrence of abnormality on a work section control panel 25 and the sub-assembly conveyor 1 and others are stopped. Thereafter, if the corresponding tightening machine is checked and the fault is removed by an operator, operation is restarted. Consequently, the occurrence of the products assembled based on any erroneous work can be certainly prevented.
