Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To industrially produce the subject alkaloid such as scopolamine useful as analgesic etc., in high productivity by culturing tropane-based alkaloid producing plant in tissue culture with entirely changing medium at least one time during culturing period. CONSTITUTION:Tropane-based alkaloid-producing plant (e.g. Duboisia Leichhardtii F. Muell) is subjected to tissue culture to afford the objective alkaloid with entirely changing liquid medium (e.g. Nitsch.Nitsch) preferably containing 0.1muM to 100mM inorganic component, 1 to 100g/l carbon source, 0.01 to 100muM plant hormone, 0.1 to 150mg/l vitamins and 0 to 100mg/l amino acids 1 to 10 times (preferably 1 to 3 times) during culturing period.
