ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SHIELDING FILM

PURPOSE:To eliminate influence of an electromagnetic wave to an electronic equipment, insulated wires and to improve corrosion resistance in an electromagnetic wave shielding film having conductive thin metal film layers on both side faces of a base material by further providing corrosion resistant thin metal film layer on at least one side of the film. CONSTITUTION:Both front and rear faces of a nonconductive board 1 made of woven fabric, or nonwoven fabric of polyethylene terephthalate, polyphenylene oxide having a thickness of 2-5mum are covered with conductive thin film layers 3 made of metal such as Al, Cu, Ag, etc., or their alloy. Then, the layer 3 is covered with a corrosion resistant thin metal film layer 4 having a thickness of 5-100nm and containing metal such as Cr, Ni, Ni-Cr alloy, SUS by a similar method. In case of requirement of wear resistance, an upper coating layer made of conductive paint is provided.
