FORWARD RESTORING SYSTEM FOR DATA BASE

PURPOSE:To reduce the processing time of a forward restoring system for data base by referring to a stored series of numbers of executing units and rewriting a data base to the state before updating the data base by forward restoration by using the history of the data base before updating. CONSTITUTION:The forward restoring system for data base is constituted of a means 1 for reading history after updating, history record deciding means 2, means 3 for storing a series of numbers of executing units, data base updating means 4, means 5 for outputting history before updating, means 6 for restoring history before updating, file 7 for history after updating, data base file 8, and a working file 9 for history before updating. Then a data base is rewritten to the state before updating performed by forward restoration by referring to a stored series of numbers of executing units and by using the history before updating in the working file. Therefore, the processing speed can be improved.
