Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-generating agent which has a safely and surely controlled duration time and temp. of heat generation in the hydration reaction by adjusting the pressure in the press molding of a mixture of quick lime, a chloride, and gypsum. CONSTITUTION:A mixture comprising quick lime (pref. with a particle size of 1-150mum), a chloride to control the hydration reaction of quick lime (pref. magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, iron chloride, etc., having a particle size of 1-150mum), and gypsum is press molded. By properly selecting the mixing ratio of the three components and the pressure to press mold the mixture, the duration time and temp. of heat generation in the hydration reaction can be surely controlled, and this a very safe heat-generating agent is prepd.
