APPARATUS FOR WARMING UP HIGH PRESSURE GOVERNOR VALVE STEAM CHAMBER IN MIXED PRESSURE TURBINE

PURPOSE:To shorten a warming-up time from the start of a boiler to the steam flow to a turbine by providing a system connected from a low pressure low temperature steam system to a high pressure maneuvering valve steam chamber. CONSTITUTION:A warming-up valve 11 is provided in a communicating pipe 10 for sending low pressure low temperature steam to the steam chamber of a high pressure maneuvering valve 4, while a drain valve 12 is provided in said steam chamber of the high pressure maneuvering valve 4. Here, a low pressure turbine 6 is driven only by low pressure low temperature steam. When the steam in a boiler 1 is introduced into a high pressure turbine 5 under the cooling running condition of the high pressure turbine 5, a warming-up valve 11 and a drain valve 12 are opened to warm up the high pressure maneuvering valve steam chamber while the boiler 1 rises up and a main steam pipe 2 is warmed up, so that the whole starting time can be shortened.
