IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a timing table by sharing a timing table with when an image is formed on a first surface and when an image is formed on a second surface. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 150 inputs a print count signal PRINTCNTn from a counter 110 counting outputs from a timing pulse oscillator 100 and a timing table from a RAM 130 storing a control instruction pairing with the signal. The CPU 150 controls the operation of each part in line with operation contents of operating parts represented by the counted value on the timing table to which the value counted by the counter belongs. This timing table is shared with when an image is formed on the first surface and when an image is formed on the second surface. A prescribed correction value is substituted for the signal PRNTCNTn when the leading edge of paper passes through a supply sensor at the time of printing it on the second surface; therefore the timing table can be shared with when an image is printed on the first surface. Consequently, contents in the timing table can be reduced.
