METHOD FOR ADJUSTING ACCESS OF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To eliminate unfairness between stations by making each station maintain an access request queue representing temporary mutual relation and giving every station a different delay for an access request to be inputted to the access request queue. CONSTITUTION: When a detecting means 49 detects that an external request count is 0 on a bus B, a local request being on standby in a buffer 51 is gated by a gate 53. At the same time, a value which is just sent and inserted into an FIFO request queue 41 through a line 55 is marked as a local request. Each work station is provided with a delay element 71 in addition to the FIFO request queue 41. The delay is so selected that the propagation time of a slot from an access point 67 to an entry 69 of a bus A becomes equal among all the stations of the system. Consequently, each station is given an equal chance.
