Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To carry out uniform and firm joining by metallizing and to provide high airtightness to a joint by using powder obtd. by pulverizing a Ti-Cu-Ag alloy having a specified ratio in the composition. CONSTITUTION:An alloy consisting of 15-25wt% Ti, 60-40wt% Cu and 25-35wt% Ag is pulverized. The resulting alloy powder for metallizing is mixed with a binder to prepare paste, and this paste is applied to ceramics and heated in vacuum or an inert gas to form a metallized layer. This layer is plated with a metal and brazed to a metal to be joined. The alloy powder for metallizing is stable, facilitates metallizing work, and can be utilized for joining a ceramic pipe to a metallic flange.
