Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To use the subject substance in order to prevent the crystallization when applying a water-based spray liquid containing a germicidally active compound such as 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-3-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-pentan-3-ol. CONSTITUTION: When a water-based spray liquid containing 0.001-2wt.% germicidally active compound represented by formulae I, II, etc., is applied, a compound represented by formula III [R is an 8-18C alkyl; (n) is 3-5] is used at (1:0.5) to (1:1.0) weight ratio of the active compound to the compound represented by formula III in order to prevent the active compound from crystallizing. The compound represented by formula III is readily available and handleable and both a filter and a nozzle in a spray device are prevented from clogging during the spraying of the water-based spray liquid. When the spray liquid is used for protecting plants, undesirable adverse effects are not manifested at all.
