DATA TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the transmission efficiency of a data without imposing load onto the software by providing a signal monitor circuit monitoring a control signal for a prescribed time and sending only the effective control signal in the control signals to the processor. CONSTITUTION:A processor 11 loads a monitor timer value at the start of monitoring an inputted control signal. Then a signal monitor is made enabled and a signal monitor circuit 13 starts monitoring the signal. A count of an OFF counter 7 is carried out when the consecutive signal is OFF for a loaded monitor time, an ON counter 6 reloads the monitor timer of an ON/OFF counter 8 when a loaded monitor timer consecutive signal is ON to initialize the counters 6, 7. When the monitor timer value is not reloaded by the ON counter 6 within the loaded monitor timer time, the ON/OFF counter 8 regards the control signal to be OFF and informs it to the processor 11.
