Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an array antenna whose direction dependency is reduced by executing an element arrangement in which the element interval is more uniform on the spherical surface. CONSTITUTION:One side of a regular triangle 5 on a regular icosahedron 4 is divided into (n) so as to become equal intervals at the time of projection to the circumscribed spherical surface. Subsequently, a straight line which passes through this dividing point, and is parallel to one side of the regular triangle 5 is derived, the regular triangle 5 is divided by using the centroid of an intersection of its parallel lines and three adjacent intersections, and an element is placed by using a 20Xn -hedron whose apex is a point obtained by projecting the dividing point of this triangle to the spherical surface. Accordingly, an element interval on the spherical surface is more equalized. In such a way, the direction dependency of the spherical surface arrangement array antenna can be reduced.
