Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having excellent processing properties and strength of vulcanized material by blending vulcanizable rubber with acrylic fibers in the presence of a phenol-formaldehyde-based resin and a formaldehyde donor and pulverizing the fibers. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. vulcanizable rubber is blended with (B) 3 to 150 pts.wt. acrylic fibers (preferably >=10g/denier tensile strength and 1 to 20mm fiber length) in the presence of 0.2 to 15 pts.wt., preferably 1 to 10 pts.wt. resorcinol and/or phenolformaldehyde-based resin and 0.2 to 20 pts.wt., preferably 1 to 15 pts.wt. formaldehyde donor (e.g. formalin) based on 100 pts.wt. total amounts of the components A and B and the fibers are pulverized to give the aimed composition.
