REMOTE CONTROL ELECTRONIC STILL CAMERA

PURPOSE:To record a video image as intended by a photographer itself by bringing a camera main body into the movie mode when no pickup is taken and sending a picked-up video signal as a TV radio wave and displaying the video image onto a TV receiver built in other remote controller provided separately. CONSTITUTION:A TV receiver 12 with a liquid crystal display device built therein and a remote control transmitter 13 are integrated. When no pickup is taken, a system control circuit 7 controls an optical section 1 and an image pickup signal processing circuit 3, which is in the movie mode. The switch 6 is turned off and an object image is not recorded onto a magnetic disk 9 by a recording head 8. On the other hand, a TV radio wave sent by an RF conversion circuit 10 is visualized by the TV receiver 12 in the remote controller and the content of pickup is grasped by an electronic still camera. Thus, the state picked up actually is confirmed by a photographer itself and the video image as intended is formed while being optimized.
