Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:A pyridazinone derivative expressed by formula I (R is H or methyl) X is halogen; A is O or S; X is halogen). EXAMPLE:2-tert.-Butyl-4-chloro-5-[4-(beta,beta-dichlorovinyl)]benzylth io-3(2H)- pyridazinone. USE:Useful as insecticide, acaricide and germicide. The derivative expressed by formula I has strong activity and acts extremely effectively also on resistant insect pests and is utilized in control of insect pest for agriculture and horticulture. PREPARATION:A pyridazinone derivative expressed by formula II is reacted with benzylhalides expressed by formula III (X is halogen) as shown in the reaction formula in the presence of an acid-binding agent such as triethylamine in a solvent such as methanol to provide the compound expressed by formula I. The compound expressed by formula III is preferably used at a ratio of about 0.5 to 2 times, especially about 1 to 1.5 times by mol the compound of formula II.
