DISCHARGE CONTROLLING SOLID DRUG CONTAINING NIPHEDIPINE AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: To obtain a regulatively releasable solid pharmaceutic that contains specific quantities of niphedipine, a hydrophilic agent, and retardant as well as an appropriate inactive pharmaceutical auxiliary agent and whose release characteristic can be adjusted over a wide range. CONSTITUTION: This regulatively releasable solid pharmaceutic is obtained by completely or partly mixing 1 pts.wt. of 4-(3-nitrophenyl)-2,6-dimethyl-3,5- dimethoxycarbonyl-1,4-dihydro-pyrimidine (here called niphedipine) as the effective component with a solution of composed of 0.5-1.5 pts.wt. of at least one hydrophilic agent (e.g. polyethylene glycol) and 0.1-1.5 pts.wt. of one or more retardants dissolved in at least on solvent, adding the obtained solution at a time or continuously into an inactive carrier, drying the product, mixing the dried product with auxiliary agents, tableting the mixture by compression, and coating or capsulizing the tablets.
