EXCITATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To change an exciting pattern by controlling the rotational speed of each of drive motors rotating a pair of eccentric masses and imparting fluctuation to the rotational speed of at least one drive motor in a massager. CONSTITUTION:A control apparatus 34 controls the rotational speeds of drive motors 12, 14 through motor driving circuits 30, 32 on the basis of the set voltage due to a control voltage setting device 36 and rotates eccentric masses 26, 28 to generate vibration of predetermined frequency. Further, fluctuation voltage of a predetermined pattern is generated from a fluctuation voltage generator 38 and added to the control voltage from the setting device 36 by an adder 40 to impart the added voltage to the motor driving circuit 32 and fluctuation of a predetermined pattern is given to the rotational speed of one drive motor 14. By this method, a heat is generated in the sum of centrifugal forces due to the respective eccentric masses and the cycle and amplitude of the beat are changed by fluctuation and an exciting pattern can be changed without lowering exciting force.
