Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To shorten the whole length of a casing so as to make miniaturization of a control valve possible by moving a pilot pressure governing valve positioned inside a coil in a longitudinal direction to change a variable throttle quantity and arranging the coil outside respective pilot chambers. CONSTITUTION:A control valve is provided with a casing 30, a spool 32 and a spring 34, a coil 36, and a pilot pressure governing valve 38. When the coil 36 is energized, the pilot pressure governing valve 38 moves in a longitudinal direction to change a variable throttle quantity. When the energization to the coil 36 is stopped, the spool 32 returns to a neutral position to hold it at that position. The coil 36 is arranged outside respective pilot chambers in a cross direction to the longitudinal direction of the casing 30. It is thus possible to shorten the whole length of the casing so as to miniaturized the control valve.
