COATING METHOD OF FORMING TOOL OF TABLET MANUFACTURING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To stick a required release agent to dies in a controlled manner by ejecting discrete droplets like a release agent from a gas nozzle, transporting them to an area for receiving mechanical stress of a forming tool, and diffusing them to the edge area of the tool by means of a large quantity of gas. CONSTITUTION: A pump 2, in accordance with the operation cycle of the tablet making machine, supplies the convex meniscus 1 of a release agent to the opening 4 of a nozzle 5 through a specific release agent line 3. Within a passing interval between the initial die 8 and the next die 8, with an air valve 6 closed in an air feeding line 7, the pump 2 forms the convex meniscus 1 in the opening 4. The convex meniscus 1 is carried to the surface of the die 8 in the form of one or more droplets. In the final process, where the air valve 6 is in a state of feeding the maximum air quantity required, the liquid, suspension or melt is thereby diffused to the periphery of the die 8 as shown by the arrow 9, with the die 8 coated consequently.
