Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To be free from scattering of strands due to the falling of a thunderbolt and to check a range of a melting loss of a wire itself by composing a steel core of a smooth body strand while coating the periphery thereof with multilayers of aluminum pipes and providing a heat-interrupting layer of a high melting point material between respective layers of aluminum pipes. CONSTITUTION:Specially strong steel wires are used as a steel core and other strands excepting the central wire 1a of these specially strong steel wires are composed of single face segment strands for being constituted into a specially strong steel core 1 consisting of so-called smooth body strands. An interposed layer 3 to become a heat-interrupting layer is provided between the layers on an aluminum pipe 2 and an aluminum pipe 4. As the heat-interrupting layer 3, a material having a sufficiently high melting pint, being free from danger of fusing by a surge current at the time of the falling of a thunderbolt while havng a big effect of interrupting heat, for instance, molybdenum or the like is used. By existence of the heat-interrupting layer 3 not fusing and having a heat-interrupting effect inspite of generated fusing of the pipe 4 of an outer layer due to the falling of a tunderbolt, the fusing is checked to the minimum. In place of this heat-interrupting layer 3, a heat-diffusion layer wound about with a tape consisting of a low melting point metal material can be conversely used.
