Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a cattle feed composition effective in improving the nutrient state of cattle of a nervous stage such as cattle in transportation or before or after the delivery by using L tryptophan, a sugar and a glycogenic amino acid as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective cattle food composition is produced by compounding (A) 1-10 pts.wt. of L-tryptophan or its salt having controlled solubility in the rumen of cattle, (B) 1-10 pts.wt. of a sugar such as glucose or fructose and (C) 1-10 pts.wt. of a glycogenic amino acid such as glycine or alanine as essential components. The feed composition is administered to cattle within 48hr before transportation or 1-2 weeks before or after the delivery at a rate of 0.01-2.0g per 1kg of body-weight.
