CATERPILLAR TYPE CABLE SUPPORTER

PURPOSE:To improve travelling performance of a chain body by fitting travelling wheels to the side of a segment main body and by positioning the bottom of a guide groove of the segment main body on the supporting body side rather than the pivoting axis of the travelling wheels. CONSTITUTION:The load W from a segment 2 is evenly shared by the 1st roller 30 and the 2nd roller 32 evenly in pressure contact with the segment 2. The load imposed on the 2nd roller is reduced in interpolating the ratio of a span S to a span S' on the principle of a lever by an arm main body 31 and transmitted to a load cell 33. As the vertical distance between the contact to a supporting body 4 of a travelling wheel 12 and the bottom of a guide groove 10, the acting region by the load of a cable, is small, the moment by traverse load becomes so little that the travelling wheel will undergo less influence of the traverse load.
